Reserved for verified Masons

Mason status is verified by humans and renewed every year. That is why Acacia is part of a paid subscription: it ensures the service's longevity, the project's independence and the commitment to never sell your data. An app made by Masons, for Masons.

The network

The first mutual-aid network between verified Masons

Acacia is not one more social network. It is a closed space where every member has been verified, one by one — so that mutual aid between Brothers and Sisters regains online the trust it has in Lodge.

Beyond your own Lodge

Mutual aid no longer stops at your Lodge's columns: the directory and the exchange board bring together verified Masons from every Obedience.

Help within reach

When you need it, alert the 7 Brothers and Sisters closest to you with a single gesture. Location only with your consent.

Between peers, no middleman

No algorithm, no advertising, no data resale. Exchanges are made directly between members, and bind only them.

Knowledge shared

The papers submitted gradually form a common library, with an AI-generated summary whenever the author does not provide one.

How a Mason is verified

Verified Mason status is never automatic. Depending on the Obedience and its customs, verification follows one of these three paths — and it is renewed every year.

I

Your Lodge's vouching

As soon as one member of your Lodge is verified, their Brothers and Sisters can be too: they have already been vouched for within their own Lodge. The chain of trust starts where it has always existed.

II

The Obedience password

Most Obediences give their members a yearly word — or a half-yearly one, depending on custom. Entered in the app, it verifies your standing instantly. It is never stored in clear text: only a cryptographic fingerprint is kept, server-side.

III

Masonic passport and dues certificate

Anglo-Saxon Obediences do not use a yearly word. For their members, verification is based on documents: masonic passport and dues certificate — current-year stamp or membership certificate — reviewed by a human.

In every case, the final decision rests with a person, never with a machine. Verification expires after twelve months and must be renewed.
